How to start and play
Start the app, click "play", select the rail line you want to surf on and click "Start" again. Wait for the two pics to disappear and then click on the left image of the Cardboard. Place your phone into your glasses and push the magnet button to start. If you don't have a magnet button try to click at the screen and put your glasses in really fast. You can control the surfer by turning your head. Try not to fall off the board.
My opinion and rating
Subway Surfing is a cool game and you get used to the controls really fast. I think it's nice that you can choose the rail line and based on this also the clothes of the surfer change. I'd rate it with 8 out of 10 points.My opinion and rating

How to start and play
After starting the app and putting the phone into your goggles you are in a show room with an old Mercedes and two pictures on the wall. Stare at one of them to start the ride. Then lean back and enjoy driving with the professional driver.

How to start and play
Glitcher VR is not really a game. You can just view your surroundings with some camera filters applied. So just start the app, put it into your glasses and then you can change the applied filters by a tap on the screen or you can connect a controller to switch between the filters.

How to start and play
Asteroids VR is easy to play. After starting it select VR, press start and put your phone into your glasses. You have to reach the marked planet without getting hit by asteroids. You can shoot asteroids by looking at them. The green arrow points you to the direction you have to fly to.

After starting Froggy VR put your phone into your glasses. You are a frog and you can move by looking at these foot icons that appear. You can eat bees by looking at them. The goal is to save the froggy-princess ;-)

How to start and play
Just start the app and put it into your goggles. It's very easy to control - just look at the seat in front of you to go to the menu. And from there you can navigate wherever you want just by looking at the items.

How to start and play
Launch the app, put it into your glasses and stare at new game. The purpose of the game is to shoot the boxes that appear in front of you. Also shoot those fields that appear inbetween the points. They take you to the next level. There is also a voice that tells you what to do, so turn the sound on.

How to start and play
Just start the app and put it into your glasses. In the menu you can select options (calibrate or start) by looking at them. If you want to change the direction you are looking in stare at "Calibrate" otherwise or after choose "Start". After starting the game try to avoid the obstacles. You can change your running direction by turning your head.

How to start and play
Starting and Playing is really easy. You just launch the app, put it into your glasses and wait till loading is finished. Afterwards you have to look at the yellow circle (it's to the left of you) to start. While "playing" you are just sitting next to a dummy (again you don't have a body which really bothers me) and are driving through a destroyed city.
My opinion and rating
Mad Race VR is a nice app to show to people who are using VR goggles for the first time. You get an idea of the possibilities with VR for mobile devices and sometimes you even get a bit frightened. I'd rate it with 7 out of 10 points.My opinion and rating

How to start and play
A few seconds after launching the app an ad video appears, you have to wait until it's over and can click away the add afterwards. If the app isn't in dual mode yet just click on "VR" in the top right. Then you can put your phone into your glasses and shoot asteroids by looking at them.
My opinion and rating
The idea behind this app would be very good, but the implementation could be way better. You are just shooting asteroids without getting any points for that. I think it's impossible to get hit/die in this game so it's a nice environments and the animation when you shoot an asteroid looks good but they didn't really bring in the spirit of a cool game. I'd rate it with 4 out of 10 points because it gets boring really fast and doesn't do what I think about when opening an "astro shooter" game.My opinion and rating

Cherry Blossom VR Cardboard is meant to be a relaxing app. To me relaxing with VR glasses on is a bit strange, but maybe it's a good idea for people living in a big city. You just hear relaxing music and see a cherry tree above you. How to start and play
Just launch the app and put it into your glasses. You can't do much in Snow Mountain Cardboard VR. You are just standing there on the mountain and can have a look around. If you have a magnet button, you can press it for flying.

This app gets boring really fast. You are just watching the snow fall down and sometimes elves appear. You can fly if you have a magnet button but that doesn't change much - you just get a view from a even higher point. How to start and play
Tokyo VR is an app that's easy to start and control. After starting the app make sure you checked "'dual"' and "'gyro"' (without checking gyro headtracking wont work). Then click "'START"', put the phone into your glasses and enjoy Tokyo. You can move by looking at the arrows that appear in front of you and return to the menu by looking down.
My opinion and rating
Tokyo VR Cardboard is a great app! You can explore Tokyo and get some nice impressions of the city. Controlling the app is very easy and it was fun "walking" around in a foreign town. You can compare it to London VR - I'll rate both apps with the same amount of points, therefore I'd rate Tokyo VR Cardboard with 9 out of 10 points.My opinion and rating

How to start and play
After starting the app you get to a screen where you can go to the settings, start the experience or read something about the app. As the app is available in VR mode and the normal mode we have to check if the VR mode is turned on before starting. Press on the gear in the top right and enable dual view (gyro will be enabled automatically too - that's ok). Then click back and once you are in the main menu again select "Begin Experience". Then put your phone into the goggles and enjoy London. You can go to certain sights by looking at the signs you see in the sky and go back to your starting point by looking down.
My opinion and rating
London VR is a pretty cool app to view London. I've been there a few years ago and while viewing the sights with this really good graphics some memories come back. It's also very nice if you've never been to London so you can make yourself a little impression of the city. The only minus point is, that you have to enable the dual mode with every start of the app. I'd rate the app with 9 out of 10 points - I really like it!My opinion and rating

How to start and play
After launching the app you see all the directories of your phone. Navigate to the directory where the videos you want to see are and select the video you want to watch. Then you can decide in which mode you want to view the video and click "Play!". You get some time to put the phone into your goggles and then the video starts. By looking down you can make some actions like forwarding or pausing the video.
My opinion and rating
When you are starting Cardboard Theater the first time there is a dialog that tells you, that the app is still a beta version and therefore it's not perfect, but I think it's a very good app!! I really enjoyed the 360° degree view (it works way better than in AAA VR Cinema which I've tested before). One thing I didn't like that much was the theater - again there were no people in the theater and the screen/the stage was a bit distorted. How to start and play
After starting the app you have to do some configurations before you can put your phone into your goggles. At first you choose the video you want to see and after tapping on it you can select in which mode you want to view it. After choosing the video and the mode by clicking on it you can put your phone into your glasses and watch your video. If you want to see settings during watching just move your head and look at the button you want to activate.
My opinion and rating
AAA VR Cinema is a nice viewer where you can watch videos in different modes. Unfortunately the video is very small in the "standard" VR mode and there is just a black space around it. Something like a cinema, a living room or a bigger video would have been good. In the 360° mode they even tried to make head tracking possible, which works really good if your video was taken from a certain distance. If the cameraman was too close it looks really hectic and you also feel a bit dizzy after watching (even if you are used to VR apps). It's a big plus that there are so many different modes but the UI/UX are not really good so I'll rate it with 5/10 points.My opinion and rating

How to start and play
Like all apps from FIBRUM you can control the app totally with the direction of your view. So you just start the app and put it into your glasses. When loading is completed you are sitting in an empty cinema (also your own body is not there, which is a thing that occurs in lots of VR apps but still seems a bit strange to me).
When you are looking down you can open the menu, which appears on the screen of the cinema afterwards. There you can choose the video you want to watch and the mode.
My opinion and rating
A cool thing about this app is, that you are actually sitting in a cinema. So it's not just your video in 3D in front of you - it is a cinema with your video on the screen. With this also the head tracking problem is solved - head tracking works but you are just looking around in the (empty) cinema. I'd rate the app with 6 out of 10 points (would be nice if there were some demo videos and a body) When you are looking down you can open the menu, which appears on the screen of the cinema afterwards. There you can choose the video you want to watch and the mode.

This app is very easy to use. After starting it you can choose between two modes - the camera mode (the blue button) where you can view your surroundings through the VR glasses and the viewing mode (red button) where you can choose and watch videos from your device. After selecting the mode (and a video if you chose the viewing mode) put your phone in your glasses and watch.
My opinion and rating
To me this app is not really a cinema app. You can just view your own videos or watch the "real world" through VR glasses. When it comes to viewing videos it's nice that they are in 3D but the app doesn't support head tracking. The other mode is pretty boring, because you get the same view as you would get without glasses anyway. I'd rate the app with 4 out of 10 points.My opinion and rating

I don't really get the sense of this game. You just see your environment and there is a woman dancing in it. But the woman is really pixelated and it doesn't seem like she is really in the room. It looks like someone has put a small picture of a "woman" in the air in front of you. I think the app is worth 3 out of 10 points.
You don't need a controller for this app - it's really simple. Just start it, click on "continue" and put your phone into your glasses. You don't have to do anything more. Just look around and see a 'girl' dancing in your room.

I'd rate it with 8 out of 10 points
Connect your phone to your controller, start it and put it into your glasses. Then you can select weather you want to control over the screen/gamepad or with the magnetic button. If you are not using Cardboard (as I am) stare at the right option (screen/gamepad). After this the menu appears - look at play and when the game starts you can aim by looking at the barrels and shoot with any key of your controller. Try to shoot as many barrels as possible - you can see your score on your canon.

I really enjoyed this game. It's fun and you can start playing and challenge your friends really fast. The graphics are not very good but I don't think that graphics are important for this game so it's ok. One thing that would be nice would be different levels/worlds so you could see other things than this brown wall. Alltogether I'd rate it with 7 out of 10 points.
Before starting the app connect your phone to your controller (I wrote a tutorial about how to connect to idroid:con and iPega gamecenter - you can view it here). After pairing your controller and phone just open the app, put it into your glasses and move the left analogstick to start (you can see the instructions it on the start screen of the app). Just make sure that you hold your phone in the same direction as you are going to look afterwards while playing when you are starting the app.

I think that Lost in the Kismet is a great app! You have to navigate through the room and decide which tool to use where. After finishing the first room I was really excited to see more, but the game was over... It would be nice if it had a few more rooms. I won't tell you more because i don't want to spoil it - just try it out ;-). Just one more thing: There is a way to rescue the girl.
Alltogether I'd rate it with 7 out of 10 points! (Would be more, if it had more rooms)
As for the app before, you don't need a controller to play this game. You just start the app, click on "START" and choose "I HAVE A VR HEADSET". Then you put the phone into your glasses and look in the direction the arrows point to. After starting you always have to collect things and use them in the right way to escape the room. You can select or collect things by staring at them.
